How to Install etherwake software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

etherwake software package provides A little tool to send magic Wake-on-LAN packets, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install etherwake 

etherwake is installed in your system.

Make ensure the etherwake package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep etherwake *
